Snow Lion, the graphic novel
Besides producing Snow Lion as a film, the story can also take the form of a graphic novel. This will be the first project of the Shantaraj media arts center in Nepal. A graphic novel script is underway and will be available by the time the media center is established in Nepal.
Graphic Novel Project
Objective:
Training Nepali artists and establishing a world-class media center with a Newari-Tibetan art style.
Location:
Kathmandu or Pokhara, Nepal
Current status:
Exploratory. Looking for Nepali and Tibetan artists, experienced professional graphic artists to provide training, and an in-country manager.
Sponsorship & Funding:
Initial sponsorship and funding will be necessary to provide training and employ artists and a manager. Once projects are successfully produced and marketed, however, the center should be able to be self-supporting and profit making.
